Your NetID is a unique name that you will use to identify yourself when you access a variety of important computer applications on campus, such as

• Setting your EnterpriseID password, which you need to register for classes and access financial aid information (see Your EnterpriseID)
• Getting started with your email and file storage accounts
• Downloading free or low-cost software from the Software WebStore

What Is My NetID?

Undergraduates

If you formally accepted undergraduate admission to the University online, you were also directed to claim your NetID online and set your NetID password.

If you accepted your admission by mail, you should have been mailed instructions for claiming your NetID.

Graduate Students

You will receive an email from the Graduate College with instructions on how to claim your NetID.

I Can't Remember My NetID!

Go to the CITES Help Desk; they will be able to tell you what your NetID is, and there you can set your NetID password. Please bring a photo ID.

I Forgot My Password! What Do I Do?

If you have already claimed your NetID and set your NetID password but don’t remember what your password is, you can reset it in three ways:

• In person: Bring a photo ID to the CITES Help Desk.
• By fax: Print the Password Change Form and follow the instructions on the form.
• Online: If you set up your security questions when you claimed your NetID, you can use them to reset your NetID password with the CITES Password Manager.
